Foundations: Your Professional Presence

This help article goes through the various different pieces of marketing you should have to set your new business up for success. 

1. Download Company Logos and Style Guide

A requirement of BCFSA is that you display brokerage information on all external advertising. This is an important part of staying compliant with our regulator! Here at Pemberton Holmes, we use Brandox to store all of our style guides and official logo files for easy access.

Empower Your Designers

If you work with outside designers, you can set up accounts for them so they can access the Brand Centre directly. This ensures they’re always working with the correct logo files and style standards, keeping all of your materials consistent.

2. Craft Your Physical Presence

Getting your marketing foundation in place early is key to launching a strong business presence. Below is your guide to setting up the core items we recommend for every Pemberton Holmes agent.

(a) Business Cards

Your business card is one of your most important brand touchpoints. We have the following sample designs available to you:

To make this easy, you can order your business cards through the company and have them billed directly to your agent account. Designs are available in reverse colouring.

Tip: Remember to include all required brokerage information and your personal brand elements (photo, slogan, etc., if applicable).

(b) Name Tags

A professional name tag is a small detail that makes a big difference. They’re especially useful during open houses, client meetings, and community events—helping you look polished and approachable while ensuring people remember your name.

You can place your name tag order through the office. Orders will be billed directly to your agent account at $8.50 per tag.

3. Craft Your Digital Presence

Your online presence is one of the most important parts of building your real estate brand. We’ve provided the tools you need to establish a strong digital footprint and keep your marketing consistent across platforms.

Our main pointers here are to set-up the following items:

(1) Your Website: Think of your website as your online business card. When clients search your name, this is often the first place they’ll land—it should clearly reflect who you are and what your business is about. Through the BoldTrail platform, you already have a website built out with powerful features, including an IDX property search, your active listings, testimonial pages, blogging tools, and more.

(2) Your CRM Follow-Up Systems: Your CRM is one of the most effective time-savers in your business. Setting it up properly allows you to scale and manage client relationships with ease. With BoldTrail, you can create custom campaigns for leads from your website, Instagram, or other sources.

(3) Social Presence: Another key part of your business is your social presence. This is where clients go to get a sense of who you are and what you represent.
